Barry A. Noland is a native of Cairo, IL, and a neo-native of Nashville, TN, having lived there the entirety of his adulthood. Barry’s art is photography. He is a former artist’s model (working locally and nationally) who is self-trained with substantial influences from the photographers with whom he worked. His photographic journey began with figure and fashion work and gradually expanded. Barry is proficient in several artistic genres—including abstract, nature, body/figure, and still life. His work has been recognized, published and awarded regionally, nationally and internationally—including the International Color Awards, Black & White Spider Awards and Atlanta Celebrates Photography, among others.
